Shirdi

Tirupati
  • Tirupati is all about spiritualism. The temple houses a heavily garlanded idol of Sri Venkateswara before whom one is allowed only a few moments before the next enclosure load of visitors is to be ushered in. In that time you’ll see the stupendously opulent vimana covered in gold and finely sculpted columns.
  • The ‘darshan’ is followed by a round of ‘prasad’, food that has been blessed by the deity and must be received with both hands cupped, right palm above the left one. Agra
  • Agra is Famous for snacks and sweets like Dalmoth and Petha, for which the most recognised area, is Kinari Bazar.
  • The baked meat, bread and chiken are the best in the menu. Kababs which are made by baking meat in an earthen over called tandoor is one of the most delicious things offered in Agra.
  • Tandoori Chicken and Tandoori Fish are other specialities. The recipes watering recipes prepared with milk sauces, curd, cream and crushed nuts are served by most of the restaurants in Agra. Dalmoth and Petha are popular sweets of the region.

Ranthambore
  • Ranthambore is one of the largest national parks I  northern India. It is situated in Sawai Madhopur district of southeastern Rajasthan, about 110 km north east of Kota and 130 km south east of Jaipur, which is also the nearest airport. 
  • The nearest town and railway station is at Sawai Madhopur, about 11 km away; Kota is another convenient station as many trains stop there. RIDCOR operates a meaga highway between Kota and Ranthambore.
  • Ranthambore was established  as the Sawai Madhopur Game Sanctuary in 1955 by the Government of India, and was declared one of the Project Tiger reserves in 1973. Ranthambore became a national park in 1980.

Agra
  • Agra is a city on the banks of the Yamuna River in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh, India. It finds mention in the epic Maharashtra when it was called Agrabana, or Paradise. Tradition and legend ascribe the present city of Raja Badal Singh ( around 1475) whose fort, Badalgrah, stood on or near the site of the present Fort.
  • However, the 12th century Persian poet Salman writes of a desperate assault on the fortress of Agra, then held by one King Jaipal, by Sultan Mahmud of Ghazni.
  • It achieved fame as the capital of the Mughal emperors from 1526 to 1658 and remains a major tourist destination because of its many splendid Mughal-era buildings, most notably the Taj Mahal, Agra fort and Fatehpur Sikri, all three of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Corbett

Nahan
  • A well-laid out picturesque town, Nahan is situated on a hill top in the Shiwalik Hills, overlooking green hills. Traditionally, saints and princes are linked with the origin of Nahan.
  • At an altitude of 932 m, Nahan is a good base for visits to the surrounding areas such as Renuka Lake, Paonta Sahib, Trilokpur temple and the Suketi Fossil Park.

Shrinagar
  • Rich and redolent with the flavour of the spices used – cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, saffrom, etc. Kashmir food can be the simple meal of a family, or a 36-course wedding banquet called Wazawan. The staple diet of every Kashmir is rice, the most preferred being the dense, slightly sticky grained Kashmir variety, which is prized in the Valley.
  • Kashmir is famous for its Wazwan, predominantly non-vegetarian. Rice is the staple food. Mutton, chicken and fish are of prime importance cuisines. Instead of sweets kehwah, Persian tea, is served after wazwan which is usually served 7 to 10 courses at wedding and parties – a sign of lavish hospitality. Several restaurants in Srinagar, mainly at Residency Road, serve Kashmiri Wazwan. 
  • All the better hotels have restaurants are mainly located at Boulevard, Lambert Lane, Lal Chowk, besides at all the hill stations and tourist destinations. Street foods are available near Lal Chowk, besides at all the hill stations and tourist destinations. Residency Road and Boulevard. Quality bakeries are available at M.A Roadand Dalgate market. Traditional breads like tsot, tshochwar and bakerkhani etc are available in all the markets. The delicaries are available at food street Lal Chowk.

Manali
  • Manali food largely owes itself to the crops that are widely grown in the surrounding valley. The main crops are paddy, maize, kodra and salyara that make up the main dishes of the Manali people. 
  • A large number of vegetables and fruits also dominate food of Manali. Vada, bhatora and patrodu are served during celebrations and festivities.
  • A traditional spread of Manali food includes an array of rice, a curry or cooked beaten curd, a curd based dish madra, pulses, raita which is a mustard based digestive food made of dry fruits, and sweet rice. 
  • This conventional fare is now served usually during marriages and special occasions and is prepared in the way called ‘Dham’ Preferably by a ‘Boti’ or a Brahmin cook.They are traditionally served on leaf plates or pattal.

Khajjar ( Himachal Pradesh )
  • Khajjiar is often reffered to as “Gulmarg of Himachal Pradesh”. The lush green meadows are surrounded by thick pine and cedar forests.   • Naldehra is a beautiful place, thicky cedar-forested and situated 2044 meters above sea level. It is located just 22kms ahead of Shimala. Naldehra means the abode of God ‘Nal’. 
  • The blue skies, lush green forests and an occasional rainbow thrown in makes the place look like  it has been painted on a canvas. The main highlight of Naldehra is the oldest golf course of India, which has the reputation of being the most challenging.

Patnitop (Jammu & Kashmir)
  • It is the lower Himalaya Range close to the Pir Panjal range, 47 kms from Udhampur and 112 kms from Jammu. This famous hill resort is perched on a beautiful plateau, at am altitude 0f 2024 meters acoss which the Jammu-Shrinagar Highway passes.
