Bangkok :

  • At the same time, the City is very famous and appreciated by visitors for its versatility and multiple points of interests. From temples, the Grand Palace, all the way over the some of Asia’s largest shopping centers and the largest outdoor market of Asia (Chatuchak), Bangkok definitely has what it takes to entertain visitors from all origins, either first time or return travellers.
  • Whilst Tai fares are very reasonable, most of the sightseeing can comfortably be reached by skytrain   ( BTS ) or Underground train ( MRT ). Aside of the sightseeing and shopping, Bangkok has developed into a magnet for food lovers of all origins. 
  • The same range of choice applies to the accommodation options all over town, from high end international chain hotels to family run guesthouses, demands of all travellers are met. 
  • In terms of wellness and relaxation – Bangkok has recently seen a huge development of city Spas and Wellness centers, in addition to the long established Thai massage centers.

Chitwan

  • The Chitwan valley consists of tropical and subtropical forests. Sal forests over 70 percent of the park. Sal leaves are used locally for plates in festivals and religious offerings.  Grasslands cover 20 percent of the park. 
  • There are more than 50 different types of grasses, including the elephant grass, renowned for its immense height. It can grow up to 8m in height. The park is home to more than 50 mammal species, over 525 birds, and 55 amphibians and reptiles. 
  • The endangered fauna found in the park are : One-horned rhinoceros, Gaur, Royal Bengal tiger, wild elephant, four horned antelope, Pangolin, Golden monitor lizard, Python, etc. Bengal florican, lesser florican, Giant hornbill, Black stork, While stork, etc.

Phi Phi
  • The Islands are located Some 48 kms east of Phuket and 42kmps south of Krabi and consist of the larger inhabited Phi Phi Don, and the smaller Phi Phi Lei, which obtained repute from the blockbuster movie The Beach. 
  • Access to the islands is by ferry or speedboat from either Phuket or Krabi.  Phi Phi lei comprises mainly cliffs and a sea lake. Maya bay is the setting for Leonard DiCaprio’s The Beach and swimming in the bay and playing with the plentiful fish is the name of the game.
  • In the famous Viking Cave, men climb flimsy bamboo scaffolds to collect swifts’ nests from the cavern walls.
  • There are prehistoric paintings here, alongside more recent pictures from the last century or so. Phi Phi Don offers plenty of activities. Diving, snorkelling and fishing trip operators work from tom Sai.
  •  Kayaks are available on Ao Lo Dalam, and climbers will enjoy the chanllenges of over 100 routes on the island’s cliffsy.
